Madmotormiquel brings us Flow Sessions 006, a warm, emotive and funky mix of house, techno, electro and more. To say the least, we are thrilled to have such a prolific mind bring us no.6. Enjoy.

Born and raised out of West Berlin Michel had only music and collecting records on his mind from an early age. Influenced by British ‚77 punk- rock and US punk from the late 80ies he soon realised musical boundaries were nothing for him. His equally large passion for hip-hop paved the way to first electronic productions. Big beat, drum ‚n‘ bass, acid techno, early spiral tribe stuff...His first fusion festival in early 2000 as well as many illegal open airs and parties in a Berlin filled with open spaces after the fall of the wall, made clear the path he would take. Up until then a party DJ with diverse genres, his passion for techno/house music steadily grew. Through own events with Bachstelzen, a collective of organisers that has greatly influenced Berlin‘s party scene with its events in elaborately themed off-locations, the course was set for frequent techno/house DJ gigs.

El drive nos va llevando de a poco por unos caminos de paisajes seductores, mientras nos adentramos en una jungla de melodías que bien podrían representar la caída del sol. 
Un ocaso en donde los naranjas tiñen la atmósfera y las nubes pasan del fucsia al violeta y al azul profundo a medida que avanzan los minutos. Pero éste es un ocaso en bucle, como si pudiésemos detener el tiempo en una fotografía anacrónica y quedarnos nadando en ella para siempre.

Zwölf Monate seit ich mich für das Leben in Eigenregie entschieden habe. Verantwortung für ungewohnt wenig Geld, dafür aber viel, viel Zeit. Viel davon zum Fragenstellen. An mich, meine Freunde und die Welt. Und das in diesem Jahr, das zuerst so viel Gülde versprach, um sich dann als einzigartige Lehrstunde im Erwartungsmanagement zu entpuppen. Egal ob persönlich oder gesellschaftlich: Krise heißt auch Chance. Chance für Vieles, was sonst nicht möglich ist. Viel Zeit zum Inspirieren, zum Feten, zum Freunde treffen, zum Planen, zum Arbeiten, zum Verwerfen, zum Verzweifeln, neuen Mut zu fassen und noch größer aufzustehen. Kompensieren erlaubt. Zum Beispiel mit einem kleinen Ritt auf der neu(est)en deutschen Welle. Zeitlose Einsichten, die sich sehr aktuell anfühlen und die Melange meiner inneren und äußeren Welt 2020 erzählt. Zwischenfazit: Der Sprung lohnt sich.

Charlie Fraîche, Jimbo Jones, and Charles Noir are all alter egos of one person: Adri, who began his journey as a party promoter in the early 2000s. Together with his friend DJ Whizz and their crew SmileyTribe, he played a key role in growing the Belgian psychedelic progressive scene.

Not long after, he stepped behind the decks himself and now you’ll find him performing under one of his three distinct aliases:

Charlie Fraîche is the storyteller... spinning tales filled with funky beats. From hypnotic deep house to atmospheric techno, from groovy minimal to funky nu disco... think outside the box and dance like nobody's watching.

Jimbo Jones is a different story... an eclectic journey through all styles and genres, smoothly mixed from one into another. Whatever fits the moment, whatever moves the crowd.

Charles Noir the most enigmatic of the three, emerges when night falls. His sound blends dark disco and indie dance into a moody, hypnotic atmosphere... music that lingers like a dream and moves like a ritual. For those drawn to shadowy grooves and late-night reverie, Charles Noir speaks your language.

Adri has performed at festivals and parties across Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Hungary, Sweden, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, and has played in renowned Belgian venues such as Fuse, Ampère, and Vaag.
