"we didn't know we were making memories, we were just having fun."

for some reason this morning the first thing that popped into my brain was a memory from last year of playing minecraft with two of my roommates around christmas time. we'd come home from class it was cold and wet and dark outside and jump onto the server. had some snacks close by and the smell of my cinnamon candles. it was a good time.

didn't think much of it back then but for some reason it hit me a bit hard this morning.
