Downtown was ready for release on 17 January 2022 as a surprise release from Popstar, Charlie Void. The song was written and recorded in 2 hours with Void's partner on a dare. The song was meant to reflect the joy that many people in South Africa felt after having an almost yearlong curfew lifted just in time for New Year’s Eve. The song is heavily influenced by Disco and French Pop.

You & Me is the third single release by Charlie Void. The song is about moving on from unrequited love and healing. The song features a big orchestral production and uses two alternative melody lines as the lead and backing vocal. 

This single is a radical departure from the dance tracks Charlie Void has previously released but is his best vocal performance to date.
