Al regresar a Inglaterra en el otoño de 1763, después de un tiempo decepcionante en Estados Unidos, el barco de Charles Wesley fue atrapado en una tormenta y parecía que todo estaría perdido, pero el 3 de diciembre llegaron a tierra.
