mix 003 (2015-18 throwbacks edition)

Hailing from Sheffield, Charlotte Ord has taken the art of DJing and made it her own. Carving out her early career in Sheffield with a residency at the illustrious Tank Nightclub, Charlotte was able cement herself on a journey to the top. 

Spending her formative years playing for brands such as Moxy Muzik, Mint Festival, Tank and Lost in Ibiza and seeing herself play b2b with Rossi, East End Dubs and Rich NXT, it is no wonder she has become so comfortable in front of a crowd. 

Occupying the booth in some of the North’s most established venues; Mint Warehouse, Progress Centre and Lab11, to name but a few, has given Charlotte a deep knowledge on how to take a dancefloor from the moment the doors open to the minute the lights turn on and every second in between.

Operating with the idea that ‘good music is good music’, Charlotte has been able to take control of rooms with anything from UKG, minimal house and even harder, more industrial frequencies when supporting names such as Ewan McVicar and Ben Hemsley. Charlotte has always steered clear of pigeon holing herself and rests on the idea that she plays music that’ll make you move, whatever the genre.

2024 sees Charlotte take another step forward in her career. With a new found eye for production, international bookings for her DJing and most importantly some massive parties for her brand Switch:Up, she is ready to take this year at full speed, with no thought of slowing down.
