‘The worst kept secret in England’s most prolific music producing region.’
Manchester arguably the champagne region of the British Music scene, old world in it’s approach to music production in stark contrast to the Californian-esq mass music production of the South East of England. The scenery in this weather worn part of England is a combination of Blake’s “Satanic Mills” and Lowry’s ‘Matchstick Factory Workers’. It is a hard place to live, a hard place to work, a hard place to survive and, offers the hardest music audiences to please in the world. Yet in the middle of all this there is one act that has so captured the imagination of Manchester’s ‘Music Glitterati’ that they eagerly await an album release that in truth should have happened 18 months ago, this as you can imagine is unheard of.
Ask the man in the street and he will most probably never have heard of Charly T. & The Band. Ask someone connected with the upper echelons of the music industry and they will interrogate you desperate for any information about this most anticipated release. The complete information black out that has surrounded the project has created massive interest as an antidote to the wall to wall coverage most bands/artists engineer.
Of course there have been live performances but these have mostly been restricted to odd festival or Industry events.

Though not a prolific touring schedule it has been enough to create a frenzied atmosphere amongst those who have had the privilege of catching a glimpse of what is to come.
And what is to come? Well we can confirm here that a September release of the album means that the wait is almost over. What should be expected from the album? A perfect blend of song craft and musical technique, a marriage of Blues and Soul, a selection of three and a half minute illusions that transport you to an alternative world and make you question reality. Built on the foundations of the best ‘rhythm section’ in town and embellished with Charly’s long established reputation as a wonderful guitar technician it creates the perfect delivery method for what are heartfelt observations and not just songs!
