A Little While Longer: a longing for a brief moment in time. A thought back to days past and time spent with loved ones or friends. What we do with the brief moment we have in this life. What we decide is important enough to spend it on.

It’s been more than four years since Lenzman’s last project on The North Quarter. During his absence the label has hardly struggled, continuing to demonstrate its relevance with a roster of diverse and exciting international artists. This has set the stage for his welcome and long awaited return home with ‘A Little While Longer’.

Written over a space of three months, it tackles the emotions and challenges of a total change of rhythm and routine, frustrated confinement and overcoming a void in inspiration. In the end it was once again his close family that inspired his creativity and process.

This body of work was brought together by the use of old recordings and found sound, sampling bespoke piano pieces and through collaboration, as well as forever finding his inner thoughts and feelings as his primary guide. This brief moment in time might feel more like an interlude, but it's an extended one that shows off Lenzman's signature brand of Hip Hop influenced Drum & Bass music.

With the pair jumping in the studio and switching it up sonically, this collaboration is on its way to lighting up dance floors worldwide.

Vibes are in abundance from the off, as crunchy Think breaks and spooky synth plucks set the tone for Degs to bounce in with unifying lyricism and untestable rhythmic execution. With this being the first ever link up between Degs and Hugh Hardie, ‘War Drum Riddim’ is a remarkable debut collaboration from the pairing as they fuse together their wide array of styles and influences.

Both Degs and Hugh Hardie continue to bounce from strength to strength as their musical journeys unfold. No doubt having one of the most instantly recognisable voices within drum & bass, Degs has had an incredible year seeing the release of ‘Still Messed Up’, ‘Nothing To Lose’ with Unglued, ‘Self’ with Hologram on René LaVice’s DeVice imprint, plus loads more. Hugh Hardie has recently announced his highly anticipated third studio album which will be landing on the mighty Soulvent Records later this year. and i'm using a Arduino UNO in this case (Ethernet wire and a wire to switch reset button).i leave the reset wire disconnected in the Uno (less code in the sketch) and i've read many times that reset wire should be on the arduino not the GLCD board. (i'm not sure of this last, i need to read more about it and learn more about this)anyway i have this problem that sometimes the GLCD doesn't show up properly. (i need to disconnect the reset and upload code again, i don't know where is the mistake)i have tried to use different GLCD libraries, but i don't know where the problem is.and i can't use Myeone's GLCD library because i need to use a SPI driver that i have no idea of how to install. (i'm new with Arduino/C/C++ programming)i tried to use the SPI library by changing the GLCD pins in my sketch, but it didn't work. (there are really many libraries but i can't see which one i have to use or don't use)i tried to use the code from http://www.arduino.cc/playground/Code/GLCDto detect what GLCD device i'm using. i had to switch the wires, so i tried with a different GLCD device and it didn't work too.the pinout is correct, but i don't know what pin i have to use for the GLCD. i'm trying to use pin #9 for the reset button. is this correct?could you help me with this problem?I have no idea how to solve this.Thanks in advance!
