PREMIERE : Tell - Y’all Feel That Honey (Paradise Mix)[Quartet Series]

For our fifth contribution to the PRMF mix series we're excited to be welcoming Inverted Audio resident Antepop.

Following shows on Balamii Radio and instores at Smallville Paris and OYE Berlin, Antepop's dug deep into his record collection for this one. Throughout the 90 minutes, deep cuts like Jimmy Edgar's 'Personal Information' can be heard alongside some personal favourites such as Huerco S's 'Cercy' and Carl Craig's remix of 'Dominia'. In his own words, "the mix is not aimed for the dance floor, more for the headphones, so get ready for the weird and unexpected."

You can catch Antepop at the Friends Of Ours x Inverted Audio stage on Saturday 13th alongside Space Dimension Controller and Martyn.

Producer and performer Jan Blomqvist has been captivating audiences from Berlin to Burning Man with his electronic meets live ensemble during the last few years. The rising artist cemented his place in 2016 among the new wave of supreme talent in delivering his carefully constructed ‘Remote Control’ album. This May, he relights the fire with a fresh remix package, with new editions provided by Daniel Stefanik & Mathias Kaden, Eelke Kleijn, Nico Stojan & Acid Pauli, Lexer and many others

Berlin-based troublemakers Nico Stojan & Acid Pauli combine on an awesome nine minute masterpiece, taking hammer and tongs to Blomqvist's collaboration with The Bianca Story 'Dancing People Are Never Wrong'. The pair deliver a pulsating rework doused with a beautiful collection of intricate melodic touches.  We're very excited to present the track today in full premiere!

As Catz ‘n Dogz get set to launch a new ‘Friends Of Pets’ compilation on their Pets Recordings imprint, Mixmag reveals a dreamy textured house remix by Kornél Kovács of @SLG’s ‘Varsovia Marimba’.
 
Throughout his career @kornel has mainly released his original material on Studio Barnhus, the label he co-founded with Axel Boman and Petter Nordkvist. That said, within the past few years he’s developed a reputation for being a sought after remixer, lending his talents to labels like R&S Records, Crosstown Rebels, Numbers., Rebirth and more. Now he graces Pets Recordings for the first time with his reimagining of ‘Varsovia Marimba’.
 
Staying true to the original’s melodic and rhythmic nature, Kovács leaves the core intact while adding increased energy and vocal chops that depict a yearning and emotive motif. It’s these subtle differences that allow the updated version of ‘Varsovia Marimba’ to deliver an irresistible groove.
 
Also found on the ‘Friends Of Pets’ compilation, which is set for release June 9 and celebrates Polish talent, are tracks by Catz ‘n Dogz, Marquis Hawkes, Earth Trax, The Analogue Roland Orchestra and more.
