After nearly one year has passed since the launch of our very own podcast-series “Circulating Waves” it is time for the 13th episode. A year full of great music and profound mind wandering together is behind us! Thank you for that, we are looking for everything lying ahead.

After many years of being musically influenced by the Berlin club scene, Reign. started finally producing electronic music himself. Initially as part of the duo disørda, he started to release music under his second pseudonym in 2019. He soon was able to place his creations on important labels like Emphatic, Concrete Records and Aarden. His musical identity has ever been evolving, from a raw industrial to today's deep and hypnotic sound.

For this anniversary Reign. will take us on a journey into the very depths of the vortex. A wall of sound which you would expect only in the lowest areas of the sea: Driven by broken rhythms, flying drones, quirky noises and backed by dark, floating atmospheres this definitely travels you far distances deep beneath the surface!

Our next artist started more than a decade ago collecting and mixing music.  His background and taste is always gravitated towards underground & psychedelic music, but over past few years he understood the wider range of sounds that techno can express. Pursuing this new found love and appreciation his most recent sessions have cultivated a mixture of deeper blends of hypnotic and mental explorations of sound. He most recently released a podcast called Altrove. As for this journey he sets the mood with elongated transitions and subtle builds of pulsating rhythms an heady ambience. Space Textures Studio Sessions - 006 - SAAM.

We continue the Navigare Audio podcast with another wonderful contribution for the 18th chapter. London based Ben Cyan has been a delighted us with his own "Kaibosh" series for a while now and it was inevitable to invite him to make a set for us as well.

"I set out to take the listener on a trip through a range of contrasting deep hypnotic techno styles and emotions. Building in momentum over two hours, the set spans moments of darkness and light, desolation and elevation - underpinned by subtle transitions and a focus on heads-down 4/4 techno grooves, both new and old cuts. A variety of frequencies ranging within ambient and transforming into deeper, raw techno conveys an experience where others can learn to dance with both the dark and the light of life.

Ish Anja like to carry sounds within her mixes that give others a feeling of familiarity, where they have been to that specific place or to a place unknown. The feeling where those listening chose contentment and euphoria, so that they can use it to carry themselves forward into whichever way resonates. She has loved sharing sounds with others since she was younger, and is now continuing to do so around Melbourne as she shapes her sound into who she truly is and what she wants to bring to others in her sounds and in the music community - depth, curiosity, unity, exploration, and a euphoric, familiar feeling that is sometimes hard for all of us to explain.

Sir Dub Muzik welcomes back I.T.Z for his second release on the label: the Velvet Gloom EP. Across two cuts, he dives deeper into his darker side, blending heavy pressure with eerie atmospheres to shape a sound that’s unmistakably his own.

“Interzone” sets the tone with ghostly textures, sharp percussion, and a driving low-end that pulls the listener straight into its shadowy world. It’s cold, hypnotic, and built for the system.

Flipping over, “Ilmu Hitam” (Malay for black magic) brings a rawer energy. Menacing sound design and rolling basslines twist around ritual-like percussion, summoning an intensity that feels both ancient and futuristic.

With Velvet Gloom, I.T.Z sharpens his vision—two tracks that balance weight with atmosphere, and mark another step forward.
