Immediately post Van der Graaf and recorded at Foel Studios in 1979 the original Pool of Sound play Intentional Fallacy ( Marot/ Dickie).

Solo Studio Recording.  Cello solo in the middle, otherwise comprised of 4 acoustic cellos with keyboard. Grand and proud sounding, whilst full of suspense, but with "worrying" overtones, and uneven time signature.

Session cellist/keyboard player, and composer. Now plays cello with Sorry about Shaun, and appears on their new EP, released 4/5/18.Played for Van der Graaf 1977/8, writes educational string music published by Faber. Played on soundtrack for Mike Leigh's " Secrets and Lies". Formed and led Pool of Sound in 1978, and Polygenes in 1996. Appears on The Vicar Songbook(cello and double bass), Unsung by Robbie McKintosh, "A Little Help from You", and " Freeway to her Dreams" by Gordon Haskell, " Dutch Courage" Alex Meaney, and many other recordings.
