The sun scuttling to hide behind the distant horizon, showering everything in its golden-pink hue. It was the first time I saw you, your hair dancing along the ebbing rays of light, body moving like a hypnotist's pendant and a smile warmer than the setting sun itself.
From that moment I knew that what I see now, who I see now, I want to see forever.

As dusk settles to night, I see her, right in front of me. Like the shiniest of gems, she draws my eye and I can’t look away even if I should. They say forbidden fruit tastes the sweetest, and right now, that is a sentiment I agree with.

As we rush to leave the undying city lights behind us, the moon shines white, like a portal to tomorrow in the pitch black night. A portal to the future we should not have. This is what we fought for tonight... to welcome tomorrow together.

The sun is rising; just the right moment. Idyllic, as the cold night dew returns back to the sky the majesty of the world shines. The city wakes up without us, the skyline of neon lights give way to the fiery sky as the new day is welcomed.
