“Are We There Yet?” is the sixth studio album from London Elektricity out on the 6th November on his own nineteen-year-old label Hospital Records.

Over 14 tracks “Are We There Yet?” combines beautiful chord progressions recorded from his own Steinway piano - a family heirloom passed down through generations - with perfect vocal harmonies from Tony himself, Emer Dineen, Pete Simpson and a welcomed return of award-winning jazz singer Lianne Carroll all underlain with rolling percussion and enveloping bass lines.

From the uplifting and playful opening of “Singing Ringing Tree” to the soulful “Why Are We Here?”, the spine-tingling roller “Artificial Skin” right through the deeper layers of “Dropship”, London Elektricity’s latest project incorporates a number of styles whilst still keeping to the true and world famous “London Elektricity” sound.

Best experienced in its entirety, “Are We There Yet?” maintains the live finesse which London Elektricity is known for, giving a gentle reminder to the paramount success of “London Elektricity Live” in the early 00's.

Since his last album “Yikes!” London Elektricity has continued to grow his drum & bass empire, overseeing the development of two labels, a number of talented artists and internationally renowned events brand "Hospitality". His encyclopedic knowledge of music spans across several decades and in turn gives a unique quality to his own production as is clear with the outstanding "Are We There Yet?" LP

Soul Trader continue to come up with the goods. Their string of recent releases has seen the West London-based label drop some heavy, deep beats on their fans and new listeners alike. Now on to their 15th release, DJ Surplus’ imprint presents the Molly EP from Data 3.

Data 3’s twisted, rolling music has previously seen the light of day on Skanknbass, Most Addictive, Soulvent and GTA Records, and support has been swift from both Radio 1 and 1Xtra. The quality of their music, as evidenced on the new EP, allows them to fit seamlessly into the vision and ethos of a label like Soul Trader. 

The title track floats into view, raising on a bed of emotional piano and some ticking intro beats. Electronic noises breathe their way in, before a vocal sample gets repeated. All this builds up slowly into an almighty drop, where the bass comes to the fore and establishes itself well. Things grind along on a level, with the producers dropping in sounds and melodies to create a sweeping, multi-layered tune with both feeling and power. They don’t forget the core elements of some heavy drums and well-worked low end, which are there in abundance. Let Molly take you away, far into the distance, far into the future.

The 10,000 strong party drew together DJs, fans, listeners, singers, live acts and MCs together to showcase every shade and style encompassing a 174 heartbeat. As the Finsbury Park fun continues and round two promising even bigger stage takeovers and a myriad of artist weaponry, we present an equally bursting drum & bass double disc, the ‘Hospitality In The Park 2017’ LP.

In the same vein as our all-day summer special, this huge 70 track mash-up spans across a full 360’ perspective of the genre; representing the established, up and coming, soulful, obscure, liquid, innovative, dark, techy, neuro, jungle style and everything in between.

Included are over 25 brand new exclusives from reputable drum & bass titans Danny Byrd, S.P.Y, Makoto and Keeno, there are VIPs from Metrik and Nu:Logic, remixes from Hugh Hardie, Total science, Camo & Krooked and Calibre, and a ‘Bullet Proof’ banger from Krakota.

Across two mixed CDs we’ve drawn for this year’s surefire summer weapons with Fred V & Grafix, The Prototypes, 1991, High Contrast, The Upbeats, Breakage in the mix. With this year’s Incubator stage pulling artists that are rising through the ranks, up and comers’ Whiney, Unglued, GLXY and Kyrist bring exciting new offerings to the compilation.

Both fans and artists came together from all over the globe last year and we expect no less in 2017.
