This is probably the oldest ID on this EP, I worked on it for a long time here and there, I kept coming back to this song as I felt there was something special in it, the progression really meant something to me, the way it evolves and evokes a sense of nostalgia, mystery and emotion.

here is this song, from 2016, that has just been sitting on my harddrive for years. No extra mixing or obsessive over mastering, just pure expression.

Purpose

This song was written during a time of exploring new genres. The seasons were changing and I was deeply intrigued by heavier, deeper styles of electronic music. I wanted to challenge myself to make something deep, heavy, cold and melting. This is where the artwork concept came to mind, something dripping but frozen and captured, like an icicle. This songs purpose is to be played live on insane sound systems. It was intentionally crafted to be spacious but also hard hitting. At some points allowing you to get lost in the atmospheres. I'm happy how it turned out and I hope you guys like it.

WILLS

This song was just a little skeleton when I found it in my folders, but I felt there was something special about it. I also relate this to the cold, dripping feeling, although this has a new take, like water freezing, it shapes into something different that still connects to this 2 track release. It's wonky and unpredictable, just like an icicle freezing into whatever shape it ends up being. The tickling of subtle sound particles is something I wanted to capture in this. I had a lot of fun writing this, probably one of my most fun, weird, going wild and hype songs I've put out. Enjoy!

My contest entry for the IMANU Bloom Remix! Big ups to IMANU and Vision Recordings for the stems and opportunity to remix this gem, was a bit intimidated at first as the original is so fresh and unique but i took it in a different direction and really liked the vibe i went with. If you didn't know he has a Patreon that you can sign up to where he gives samples and a tune (unreleased) every month, tutorials, cooking videos and a personal discord!
