Within weeks of recording their initial set of demos, a representative from BMI in ..London.. heard their cut "Green Hair" and sponsored a showcase trip to ....New York.... where they were quickly snapped up by Spirit Music Publishing (Lou Reed, Brian Wilson, Tricky). .. .. Spirit Executives were so captivated by ..JUNK's.. ..songcraft.. and live show that they immediately flew them out to Los Angeles to play for top record producers. What was meant to be a one week run turned into a three month stay as the legendary producer, Ed Stasium (The Ramones, Talking Heads, Joan Jett) jumped at the chance to work with the guys. .. .. Within months their music was featured in the soundtracks of dozens of movies and television programs such as Sony's "Anger Management", NBC's "..Providence.." and MTV's "Clone High, ....USA....." The ABC Network used a tune to promote their entire winter 2004 line-up, Fox's "..Tru.. Calling" featured several tracks and even the Olsen Twins have had their fill. .. .. Though the band is currently on a creative holiday, their material is quickly getting attention, being featured in the "Employee of the Month" starring Christina Applegate and Matt Dillon, episodes of "Laguna Beach," and "What I Like About You." Their song "Life Is Good" has famously appeared in numerous films, including the 2003 movie Agent Cody Banks, the 2006 movie The Benchwarmers, the 2002 movie When In Rome, the 2007 movie "A Modern Twain Story: The Prince and the Pauper", Veronica Mars, the series 10 Things I Hate About You and the Disney Channel Original Movies You Wish!, Go Figure and in the first episode of the first season of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.
