Germany's Ben Mono firmly stamps his name on the MadTech roster this month, offering up a slice of driving tech house in the form of 'Why?'

Initially coming up through Compost Records, Mono now has over a decade of production experience under his belt, including work for the likes of Permanent Vacation, Ed Banger and Exploited.

Marking a solid debut on Kerri Chandler's highly successful imprint, 'Why?' cuts a deep groove with an edge of paranoia, adding a touch of the surreal to the proceedings.

The title-track to a 3-song EP, 'Why?' drops March 16th (Digital) and 29th (General), and comes complete with a remix from Russian producer Xandl.

'Breach' is an amalgamation of pulsating sub basslines and 808 hits, a perfect hybrid of the styles of both artists.

In celebration of Miami Music Week 2019, Solardo and their Sola label have collated a monster 21 track compilation of heavy floor fillers from esteemed producers and rising talent that are rapidly growing to prominence on the scene. Del 30’s Stay Focused kicks off the compilation with intense magnitude, boasting distorted synth patterns and techno infusions perfect for early hours club play. Tuff London line up another underground belter with Heartbreak, featuring a thrilling vocal loop weaved amongst punchy drum lines.

Ben Rau has been at the forefront of the underground house scene for well over a decade, and in this time has nurtured two independent record labels to match the quality and flare of his own DJing and production sounds.  

INKAL was set up in 2016, as a vinyl only imprint for his own productions, fast earning a reputation as a 12” label to snap up on sight.  This was followed a couple of years later with META, a label dedicated to grassroots, minimal and deep house music that incorporates talent from around the world, as well as Rau’s own inimitable releases.  As one of the top selling labels on the Beatport store, META has pushed some class acts, many of whom are included on this anniversary compilation ‘4 Years Of INKAL/META’.
