The Story Pt 1, is a compilation album from artist all over LA the Bay Area and Sacramento, this annual tape was hosted and executive produced by David Chatman (@ChatmanDidiT) with the lineup of, Marisha Ashanti.( @Marisha_Ashanti ), Rob Woods ( @RobWooods ) Evan Joelle ( @EvanJoelle_ ), Tae Holla ( @iAmTaeHolla ), and LuMm ( @iAmLuMm ). 

This project is taking you on a journey through various mindsets of African Americans in the current state of America. With Marisha's opening that sings true like a new pledge of allegiance, to LuMm's track on police brutality and the immediate consequences that hold on the children of America. The Story Pt 1 is the beginning of our attempt at reclaiming the narrative and expressing it in the rawest truest form.
