Hello! My artist name is Chātra and i'm mostly interested in old school Goa Trance. I was born and raised in a small countryside village,far away from all the rumbling of clubs and parties,and until i reached the age of about 14 i didn't even like electronic music AT ALL! Seriously,i considered it blasphemy because i mostly listened to rock,metal,some reggae and even some
country,blues and jazz when i was a kid. All stuff that involved instruments,wich at the time made me believe electronic stuff was just for idiots who couldn't play an instrument. 

Now,as we all know,wisdom comes with time and so did my appreciation for electronic music. At first it was just the mainstream stuff,i was there when dubstep and all that stuff became popular and i didn't even attend raves until i was 16. Then i discovered hardcore and the likes,specifically Goa,but back then i only found/heard the new school stuff. Don't get me wrong,i appreciate every style of music,but apparently that was just not enough for me yet. 

It wasn't until i was 22 that i attended my first actual Goa party in some hidden barn at an undisclosed location.
Suddenly i felt home. the music was WAY better then what i'd ever heard before and for the first time in years i actually had an amazing night filled with melodic,uplifting and blasting music. The people were so lovely and friendly,the decorations astounding and the energy that was fueling the crowd was one of pure bliss,love and music. Needless to say,i was hooked that night from the very first beat i heard in that barn.

We're a few years later now,i'm a few years older now,and i'd like to contribute to the music that has changed my life in so many ways for the better. I mostly attend bigger events here in Belgium,where we get spoiled as hell in my opinion. In the few years i've attended parties here i've seen a lot of big names,all here in little Belgium,and i find the Belgian DJ's and producers i've heard/encountered quite good too. So,in light of that,i'm going to give this my best shot and try to enjoy both you people and myself,while (hopefully) bringing good mixes!
