Yes playing at Sisyphos is always magical, but this time was just on top of everything else! During the Set we both couldn't believe what was going on.. There was this intense connection between us and all the lovely dancers and we had this unique flow of creativity while we were playing. Thomas, thank you my Friend and Role Model for this 3 1/2 hours of pure joy and inspiration. 7 Years ago I danced the first time to a set played by you in Munich, now I have had the chance to close our best Set together with your timeless classic Pleasure Seeker <3 
Also a big thank u to all the Dancers for the Energy & the Love , We know a lot of you took off on Monday just to be there, GRACIAS <3

Hello folks.  Unfortunately my digi-recorder packed it in this week whilst recording my set at Revolver.  In lieu of this weeks podcast, I'm posting my T-Rek album from 2006 "Freakshow Disco Vol.1 (The Round-Up)" in it's entirety.   This was my second T-Rek artist album, and the first to collect all of my current (at that time) tracks and remixes in to one continuous DJ style mix. To play this stage for the second year means more than i can put into words. Its so much more than just a stage. Its an alter ego, a platform to express myself through music in the purest way possible. Thank you to everyone who came down so early to share it with me i literally cried with happiness. Endless thank you's to Rainbow Serpent for the most beautiful festival and dance floor we've laid our eyes on, to Thad Lester for believing in us, to Adam and the Full Throttle team for the sound system to end all sound systems, to Mycelium for creating such a perfect stage for us to perform, to our families, our beautiful partners Alex and Laura, to all of our friends who came out and every single person dancing, every one played such a huge part in this experience and without you it just would not have happened. 

Its a feeling beyond words to be on the other side of a moment this big, getting to share our art and love at such an amazing event - if anything we want this to be a testament to anyone who has a dream - never stop pushing and never stop believing <3 <3 <3

It shares the best of a vibing crowd, crazy colourful visuals, world class stage designs and elite of elite sound systems. Even then there is just the raw connection between dancefloor & DJ, something which words cannot describe and only felt. Thank you to the rainbow team for their efforts and for the great opportunity. My heart is filled with so much positive inspiration after experiencing my 7th year playing on the impeccable Market Stage. 

A lot of love was put into this set (as always), but this year I honoured some friends of my music who passed during 2018, Brittany Hall and Yanni Plugger Sarantis. I felt obliged to call in these two beautiful techno loving souls to a place that means so much and I smiled feeling their presence throughout my set.

Dedicating this set to them and the spirit of the Rainbow Serpent was a beautiful experience for me. I am privileged to be able to co-create in this space, with this evolving community and seeing the Wildwood presence keeps my heart warm. 

Infinite love to all those who have supported me on this journey, you know who you are! Enjoy the vibrations ;)

I'd like to thank every single one of you legends for being there on that dance floor supporting me & pushing me back to my 1st true love...  music.

Patrice has a few words he would like to say... 

“Ahead of my GU42 Berlin album release on March 29th, I wanted to share a very special live set from the other side of the planet. Like Berlin, Rainbow Serpent is an anomaly on the rave map. This mix will be online for a very limited period only:

The best dance floor in the world. That’s the Market Stage of Rainbow Serpent Festival to me. The energy of the Rainbow tribe, the rabid vibe and feeling of unity are difficult to describe to anyone who has not been here. Simply standing on the dancefloor and experience this incredible sound system is one of life’s finer pleasures. I felt absolutely honoured to be trusted with the task to close the festival. Looking onto the dancefloor from the dj booth, the Market Stage painted a beautiful picture. The atmosphere was electric and love-drunk all day, Nick Warren and D-Nox brought their A-game.

This is my third year in a row playing here and the absolute highlight on my yearly calendar. In these years my wife and I have made friends for life here, which is why we release this mix with our beloved Wildwood crew. We have grown extremely fond of Australia as a country. This place has received us with open arms from day one and never fails to blow our minds in many different ways. It has become our second home.
