Almost 30 years ago in 1987 (insane), Herb Albert brought together then 21 year old Janet Jackson & backing vocalist Lisa Keith to create the timeless love song, "Making Love In The Rain." Decades later, Chaz Atlas gives it a dark but grooving makeover with the help of the legendary Peter Gabriel and "Digging In The Dirt."

My remix tribute to His Royal Badness and The King of Pop. Prince's "Erotic City" was recorded directly after seeing Parliament-Funkadelic at the Beverly Theatre in Los Angeles in 1983. That same year, Michael recorded a demo track for 'Love Never Felt So Good', originally composed by Jackson and Canadian singer-songwriter Paul Anka. It was reworked in 2014 as a duet featuring Justin Timberlake and released posthumously on May 2, 2014. Chaz Atlas brings these two tracks and their respective icons together for a remix that is fun, fresh and reflective on the the legends, both gone too soon.

Duran Duran's 'Come Undone' hit #7 March of the 1993's The Wedding Album. They blend quite well for a sweet 80's retrospective groove.

Chaz Atlas delivers another smooth mashup/remix. "Woman in Chains" is a Top 40 global hit by the English band Tears for Fears, released as the second single from their 1989 album The Seeds of Love. It features guest vocalist and recording artist Oleta Adams. The studio cut features Phil Collins on drums. 
Chaz beautifully blended Jill Scott's, "Gettin' In the Way" which was the first single released in 2000 by American R&B/Soul singer-songwriter Scott, off her debut studio album, Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1, produced by Dre & Vidal. The song was her first charting UK single, which peaked to number 30 on the UK Singles Chart and top 40 R&B singles.

Congratulations to Yes for becoming 2017 Inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! This remix is my little HoF tribute to one of my favorite bands & tunes during my freshman year in high school, Upstate, SC.  "Leave It" by English rock band Yes appears on their 1983 album, 90125. The song peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 3 on the Top Rock Albums.

"This Is Not America" is a song by jazz fusion band Pat Metheny Group and rock singer David Bowie, taken from the soundtrack for the film The Falcon and the Snowman.
The song, a midtempo ballad, was released as a single that reached No. 14 in the UK and No. 32 in the US. The song later appeared on Bowie's greatest hits compilation Best of Bowie, appearing on all but the Australian and Japanese pressings of that album. Metheny later noted that Bowie's words were "profound and meaningful—and absolutely perfect for the film.
