Although Griffiths wrote the scripts for Warren Beatty's Reds (1981) and Ken Loach's Fatherland (1986), this interview focused on his plays Occupations (1970) and Comedians (1975), his TV series Bill Brand (ITV, 1976), his BBC TV film Food for Ravens (1997) and his play A New World, staged at Shakespeare's Globe in 2009.

Initially formed out of a desire to step back from the intensity of peak-time club spaces, the DRIFT project has enjoyed 5 wonderfully relaxed years, during which they've curated some truly memorable listening bar events across the UK. In order to celebrate the special milestone, they've asked 12 producers and artists previously involved with DRIFT in one way or another to contribute something in their own style for a very special compilation album entitled "5 Years of DRIFT". Releasing fully on the 15th March, the release showcases a range of genres from spoken word and ambient, through jazz and neo-soul to experimental club and dreamy, distant jungle. Next up for EDWIN MUSIC CHANNEL, is producer, songwriter, and DJ @Gavsborg a member of the Jamaican recording and performance collective Equiknoxx, which has been active since 2015.

Together with his friends Shanique Marie, Time Cow, Bobby Blackbird, and Kemikal Splash, he injected his Dance-hall music particles via elements of field recordings, Hip-Hop, Soul, and Dub. Since 2017 Gavsborg, who currently resides in Berlin, Germany, has released solo music, elevating experimental Dancehall and Reggae to a new plateau, whilst using all the manifold electronic techniques, that modern music production brings along. You can hear Techno's traces in his music. Dub elements are all over the place and soothing rhythms fly high, without catering to the usual dance patterns.
