For a long time now we have been admirers of Orion's music, which is why we are excited to say that they have composed something for Far Blue. This carefully crafted liveset featuring new materials is a melancholich piece which really captures the Far Blue feeling.

The set was recorded during a storm that hit Milan, and soundtracks the various moods of such a day. Listen carefully, and you hear the wind and rain hitting the windows.

Cheapshot is the curator of Cheapbeats records and organiser of the Square Sounds Tokyo festival.

Born in the UK, but raised as a chiptuner in Japan. Cheap started making chip around 2010 after being introduced by a friend, and hasn’t look back since. Drawing on works by Quarta330, minikomi, ???, his works include LSDJ releases on 8bitpeoples and metrodub, piggy tracker on OSCBox, and more recently nanoloop on Cheapbeats. Expect techno, bass, and good times.
