It’s official, the recent heatwave in the UK has finally gotten to Paul and Eli. This week, it's going to be tough for the Cheap Chaps to make it through with their sanity intact, especially when they have to wade through one of the most disgusting "Tales from the Shop Floor" in recent memory. In fact it could be the last! Eli is on the rampage in this episode’s Price of Shite. He’s hungry for p'twings and it opens the door for more than his fair share of idiotic rants. Keen listeners will also be able to hear the moment Paul's will to live evaporates. It's not obvious at all! It's not all doom and gloom though, as Paul gets excited about his new advertising campaign and Eli hopes to join the Mustard Club! All the fun of the fair!

Ep 253: Old Faces

It's entirely possible that Paul and Eli may have had too much coffee, candy and soda this week, which may explain their volatile behaviour, but that's not really an explanation. The Cheap Chaps venture back to the Froth Shop and the Soda Jerk to sample a large selection of delicious, yet cheap, Japanese candy and some revolting UK soft drinks. However, all is not well behind the scenes, as the proprietors of these sweet establishments are having a bit of an awkward falling out. It's not too much better for Paul and Eli either, as one of them can feel a stress induced death coming on and the other can feel a revolting, maddening song coming on! It's going to be another "one of those" episodes again, isn't it? Sigh!

Ep 256: Joyless Icing

We're back! To celebrate the start of a brand-new year, CheapShow has decided to make a very special podcast. This week, to celebrate its 40th anniversary (ok, we just missed it but...) Paul and Eli are taking to the streets of Northwest London to try and track down the locations of a film no one has probably even heard of! In 1981 a TV movie called "Dangerous Davies" was broadcast, starring Bernard Cribbins, based on a series of barely popular books. As it turns out, it was filmed in the area Eli grew up, so he decides to use this expedition as an excuse to revisit some of his old childhood haunts... and Paul has to put up with it! Is this our most pointless episode to date? Probably! Come join the Cheap Chaps on yet another walkabout episode that quickly strays from the path.

EP 263: The Great Dangerous Davies 40th Anniversary Walk

How many characters can CheapShow sustain? Has Paul created one too many pointless, annoying characters? Eli seems to think so, in this, our magnificent 83rd episode!
It's all the usual larks and laughter, covering all your favourite segments... and even some you probably hate too. We have Tales from the Dancefloor, "Mi Casa, Su Casa", Cheap Eats and The Price of Shite. It's a ruddy packed show!
Eli huffs some potentially poisonous fumes, Paul decides to turn every single bloody moment into an opportunity to make more infuriating animal sounds and voices and it all leads to CheapShow's typical concoction of comedy and violence!

Ep 83: Mouth Sounds

Enough is enough! We have to end this relationship with Noel Edmonds, one way or the other... and it's not going to be pretty! Paul and Eli finally lift the flaps of Britain's most infamous and cuddly light entertainer's private life and get stuck into some of the more untoward parts of his career. Hopefully we may never need travel back to Crinkly Bottom again. However, it's not all Noel talk this week, in fact you get a healthy dose of regular CheapShow content for your troubles. We are promised some "pet corpse" stories and BOY do we get some. Paul gives himself over to Jimmy Biscuits and pays the price. Eli reveals something shocking that could ruin the cheap eats section of the show forever and a slanderous theory is put forward as Eli gets off on Noel's balls.
It's the usual podcast oddness!

This week, it may be worth bearing in mind that the lock down is having an effect on Paul and Eli's brain. For instance, when Paul puts on a puppet show for his co-host, it doesn't end well for Mr Cocky Crocodile, put it that way. Also witness the sad story of the Suck Vac 3000, a machine built for one purpose and it's one that Eli plans to exploit. At some point the cheap chaps remember the point of this podcast and test some cheap snacks, discover a new "tales from the dancefloor", reveal an insidious radio DJ conspiracy and dive into a whole new "Silverman's Platter" where it all gets funky.
