Paul and Eli have never had much luck during Halloween. They've been attacked by a pervy hamster, attacked by a crazed fan, spent a long, dull night at a haunted house and was chased through the woods by an axe wielding guest! This year, the Cheap Chaps are going to try and keep it simple. Eli has picked out a few spooky tunes to listen to and Paul has a few paranormal page turners to investigate. It may be a super scary night, but they are both wrapped up warm. However, Paul is expecting someone... and a debt must be repaid! Happy Halloween!

Ep 254: The October 31st Episode

It’s time, once again dear listener, to tackle some more cheap instant noodles, but this week, Paul and Eli may have literally bitten off more than they can chew. They’re tasked with trying to eat a dangerously spicy noodle that warns them of the danger, but the cheap chaps forge ahead… and promptly regret their decision. How spicy can it possibly be? They’re going to find out the hard way. Elsewhere in the episode, it’s time for a new Paul’s Page Turner segment and Gannon is desperate to give it its own proper jingle. Even if that means stealing a bunch of old ones no one is using any more. Finally, Eli finds more joy in a treat Paul’s discovered on the floor. For real. It makes for some serious ejaculations of joy. Which is troubling!

It’s a tough week at CheapShow HQ this week and both Paul and Eli are feeling creatively bankrupt. After 340 episodes, they’re worried the end is nigh, but until that day, they will battle on with gusto. To hell with their dignity! There is a Sauce Report and Price of Shite segment to struggle through, and the selection is a proper troubling collection of foul goop and truly odd charity shop curios. It’s going to test whatever is left of the cheap chaps and leave them ruined by the end. To make matters worse, there are dark, evil plans afoot. Somebody is concocting a wicked scheme and they can’t wait to put the final nail in the coffin of the world’s best economy comedy podcast. Is this the end? Or is the start of a new beginning? Ep 342: Gannon's Golden Quest The Third (MONO)

Whilst Paul and Eli have carried on regardless, there have been nefarious plans developing in the background and its not good news for the “much loved” economy comedy podcast. Following the shocking events of Red Nob Day, Richard Brandoff and Jimmy Biscuits are living in hiding on a busy roundabout. The other characters are also off the radar, and it looks bad for the extended CheapShow universe. To make matters worse, all those copy characters created by Brandoffski are making a push for dominance and it looks like they're going to succeed. Richard and Jimmy find out about the unbelievable success of “Thrift Pod” starring Saul and Levi and decide to check the podcast out. Turns out it’s pretty similar. Maybe TOO similar. Something is not right here. Why not make up your own mind and listen to both CheapShow AND Thrift Pod… Is this the end of everything we know and love?

Ep 347: Thrift Pod

If there is one thing we love on CheapShow, it’s the Charity Shop Showcase. It’s the part of the show where we can spend a little more cash and show off something weird or wonderful. This week Eli has found something Pirates of the Caribbean shaped, and Paul has a Kenny Everett annual from 1981. Which will join the “showcase” and which will end up in “no place”? There is also a rather curious challenge ahead for the Cheap Chaps. They’ve been sent a range of Dr Peppers, each with an unusual flavour twist. Can Eli differentiate between the many variations, or does it all taste the bloody same? To make things a bit spicier, Paul is well up for a fight this week, which Eli finds unnecessary!
