Después de casi 1 año de no tomar las tornamesas, este fin de semana el beat regresó.

The Beat is back

Al inicio de la década que acaba de terminar inicié la grabación de lo que se llamó Sesiones 2010.
El proyecto consistió en la grabación mensual de un Dj Set en vivo con las rolas que en ese mes había tocado o habían sido agregadas a mis playlist.
Escuchar lo que tocaba y la gente bailaba hace 10 años está super cool. Obviamente la escena, los artistas, la forma de difusión, los géneros y subgéneros han cambiado. Pero lo más importante es que seguimos bailando.
Ojalá lo disfruten tanto como hace 10 años...

Sesiones 2010.001

Underground mexican DJ. From Caribee to world!. Sergio a.k.a Checo Castillo has been a part of the underground music scene in Mexico for over 15 years. He started out in is home in Mexico City, the largest concrete jungle in the world, spinning at parties and working/running classes and courses at a local record shop in the vario. His journey later landed him in the capitol of the Caribbean state Quintana Roo, where he co-founded the regions electronic music radio station, Casa Beat Radio which continues to run weekly episodes and podcasts for thousands of listeners to download and enjoy. Checo has been a huge part of the EDM movement in the southern part of the state and we are glad to have him on the Mahahual Music roster.
