Odyssey through the barrier, invoking the yawning void

Ron Gabriel grew up with a strong connection with music, having access to his mom's record player and extensive record collection. Music was constant in his household, being exposed to eclectic musical Genres from Classical, Ethnic Folk, Jazz, Rock, Funk and Soul. He quickly developed an affinity for Electronic music and Hip Hop, by the early mid 90s. He was introduced to House music and Drum and Bass/Jungle, and decided to work with turntables. Starting in House music and working into Drum and Bass, the next decade Ron focused on the sounds and genres that truly intrigued to him, mostly deep tech house and Liquid funk Drum and bass. In the past 3 years he has been a feature artist on Proton Radio's Darker Shades show hosted by Naveen Gumpeni & Pat Foosheen. consistently placing in Proton radio's top 100 mixes on the charts. He recently had his 1st debut release "Let it Rain" with Pat Foosheen and was signed onto Kommunity records, Look for Ron’s future productions and you can follow his other mixes on Mixcloud.
