I flew out to St. Louis last year to get some work done and this was one of those pieces. Met up with DT + Bo along with the homie P(Ptheaveragejo if you don't know) and recorded this one night in a "haunted" studio, haha. Good times. The moment I first heard the song, it made me feel like how fast life goes and how no matter what happens, it moves with or without us. Things just happen whether we're ready or not. Made it very easy for me to write a simple yet powerful statement about how time waits for no one and rarely is still. I hope you all enjoy.

I decided to release "Babylon" after the loss of a great MC (Rest In Peace Mac Miller!) His transparency and honesty was one of the illest things about his artistry and being a long time fan of his, he always made me feel comfortable to just spit that life shit and not worry so much about all the other bullshit that comes with putting out a "hit". Art is life and he lived that shit, through his demons - and Babylon tells a little bit of my story on levels I've never done before. Super thankful for you to hear.
