"Lanthorn Estate" (Overture) [cont'd.] + "Don't Wanna Be like...Me" (Character Portrait)

Monastery Rec. is honored to return with the second installment to it's Various Artists 'Vari-Tech' compilation series. Hosting a number of returning names from our previous 'FIRST MASS' [2020] compilation and the labels catalog, while simultaneously introducing a handful of new faces, 'SECOND COMING' delivers a range of different takes on a single concept, 'Glitch'. With no other constraints or major direction, each artist was given the freedom to contribute a track built on that theme alone, infusing each of their unique flavors. The results yielded a plethora of creatively different interpretations, some more abstract, while others - very on the nose. Through this compilation release, you will hear many literal glitch effects, lots of which are very electronic, like a device breaking, while others fall on the more 'organic' side, sounding more akin to that of a neon tadpole spawning ground...or something like that. We'll let you be the judge.
