i love how everyone is so confused by the pauses, such a unique touch that I love

great work! the silent pauses kinda pull me from the experience, but its still a great piece!

and soon there'll be ' up and about but all the pauses are uncomfortably long ', ' up and about but each pause descends you further to paranoia ', ' up and about but every pause changes the key of the song '...

✦ [Under Wayne, he begins investigating Nova, staying unspotted and undercover for months.]
✦ [It's difficult for Henry to find out anything over the course of these months, until one day, he finds the opportunity to sneak into Nova's base.]
✦ [He searches the entire place clean, but still, finds nothing.]

✦ [The front door of the base opens.]
✦ [A figure of a person walks in, seemingly holding a body in their arms.]
✦ [The person is dead, in their arms.]
✦ [Henry can't help but notice the deceased person has a mark on their hand, reading 'XI'. The roman numeral for eleven. Which means this was one of the Barcodes.]
✦ [The person holding the deceased Barcode was crying.]
✦ [After taking a closer look, Henry realizes who the person is.]
✦ [It's Nova's wife, Mitchie.]
✦ Mitchie: Who.. Who are you.. You..
✦ Mitchie: Are you one of his partners? His..
✦ [Mitchie collapses, sobbing.]
✦ Mitchie: I can't do this anymore. I don't want to help him.
✦ [Henry quickly walks over to Mitchie, kneeling down, rubbing her back.]
✦ Henry: Hey, Hey. It's okay. I'm not with him.
✦ Henry: I'm with Wayne.
✦ Mitchie: Please, help me escape this mess. I can't do this.
✦ Henry: Where is he? Can you tell me what you know?

✦ [Henry looks at the barcode on the floor, who lies there, stiff and lifeless.]

✦ Mitchie: A couple days ago I handed him over to Antonio.
✦ Mitchie: He'll be much safer with the entire Itancian Mafia protecting him.

✦ Henry: Okay. Let's go. I'll get you out of here.

✦ [Mitchie was transported to a place far from Nova and his workspace.]
✦ [Mitchie now lives on the coastal bay area of Alpine Incline, guarded by rows and rows of Itancian Mafia guards and Xitratarian Military specialists.]

✦ [They decide it's time to put an end to this and confront Nova.]

✦ [There's a note on the ground, near where the mask was found.]
✦ Note: Hey, brother. I know we're leaving soon to the new universe, so I'm writing this as quickly as I can. I made this mask for you, along with the jacket I made for you personally! I hope you can find this mask special. I intended it to make it look like you're smiling no matter what, even if times are rough! These are your birthday presents, so I hope you like them!
