CHEF first made waves in the underground techno scene with his seminal 'Cocamide EP' on the legendary Djax-Up-Beats (DJAX-UP-354) in 2002. Known for his raw, driving energy and a masterful touch on the hardware, he helped define a sound that was both relentless and hypnotic.

After a period of sonic exploration and experimenting with deeper, atmospheric textures under the moniker Northern Underground, the undeniable itch of the 303 has returned. The call of the acid line was too loud to ignore.

Returning to his roots with a modern edge, CHEF has traded the vintage limitations for the power of the future. Moving from the MC-303 and Cubase to a high-octane Ableton 12 workflow, his new productions bridge the gap between the classic "Sound of Rome" and the industrial grit of today’s warehouse scene.

The focus is clear: raw percussion, distorted basslines, and that signature Chef-style acid that never stops evolving.
