Her DDD debut Dizzy EP is set to disorientate you in the best possible way, sending you dizzy in the dance with its high octane flows, percussive grooves and sub flexing energy - all tied together with an exquisite mixdown.

The London-based American born UK artist cut her teeth in the UKG scene as the leading force behind 24hr Garage Girls, but has always had a passion for dubstep which led her to experimenting adding her UKG flavours to the 140 world - with recent releases on UKF and Deadbeats.

The results in Dizzy EP see this unique sound go to another level, three 140 monsters ready to make the party rock and shut down the rave. 

Led by EP opener Bounce and lead single Block Party, its a one-two punch of infectious animation before the eponymous closes proceedings with melodic, broody weight.

Torcha is best known for his cavernous stripped-down minimal Dubstep and paying homage to early 2000/2010’s era rave culture’s many niche sub-genre roots, creating something new from Grime/Dubstep’s early sound and inspired by the left field bass movement that pioneered the SoundCloud golden age with a signature twist of dramatic basslines structured through intricate and infectious drum grooves & mixing technique.

Athena makes dubstep with intention - anchored at 140, but shaped by the mood of the room, the weight of a moment. Drawn to tension more than release, her sound leans textured, restrained, and built for pressure. It’s meant less for the spotlight, more for the ones who feel it in their chest before their feet.

This mix was made for what’s coming - released in summer, but created for the colder shift ahead: unrelenting and thick with shadow. Still, whatever the season or setting, Athena’s sound lingers the same… immersive, deliberate, and never chasing the obvious.

Athena will be performing at DDD Halloween - Mission Ballroom, Denver on Saturday 1st of November!
