Paauglystėje įsitraukiau į muzikos paieškas, niekada nemėgau mainstream'o, visada siekiau kokybės ir išskirtinumo. Išgirdęs kaip ant galingų garso sistemų įtraukiančiai ištransliuojamas skambesys - mano kojos savaime pradėjo vesti šiuo keliu. Pajutau, kad ir aš noriu būti viso to dalimi. Dalintis, kurti, šokti, išprotėti ir jausti laisvę, įsinešant į kasdienybę.

Norai: Įrodyt sau, kad galiu stovėti šalia geriausių.

Laisvos mintys: Nuoširdumas sau yra didžiausia vertybė, kurią žmogus turėtų išlaikyti.

Why music?: As a teenage I got interested in digging music records. Never liking the mainstream naturally pushed me towards quality and uniqueness. Much later, hearing how immersive sound can be on powerful soundsystems I became aware of the path I want to walk. I felt that I want to play a bigger part in the scene. To share, create, dance, be crazy and feel free in everyday life.

Wishes: Prove to myself that I can hang with the best.

Free thoughts: Sincerity to oneself is the greatest value a person should maintain.

The second name in our Lithuanian December LAYER special is also our guest at this year's WPD Xmas party. Alytus-based Cheff Optimal is in charge of opening our party as well as winning your hearts with this 2-hour promo joyride two weeks before. From fruity mid-tempo to spaced-out atmospheres to manic prime-time bangers, the Lithuanian gives us a glimpse into his bag of presents, ready to be given away on DEC 25. 

Cheff Optimal is a project created to explore the diversity, depth, and richness of electronic music. Shrouded with childlike curiosity and openness, Optimal is on a journey of discovery for thought-provoking melodies. Creating an atmosphere of psychedelic vibrations through the yin and yang philosophy, stories are sonically transmitted to please the listeners' imagination.

Trip intensifies. After chilly spring, we’re optimizing the mood with comrade Cheff Optimal. Quite an odd time to experience what’s going on around us, thus, his musical reflection will fit the mood and prepare for the upcoming summer season.

As Cheff himself mentioned: “I hope the selection will appeal to both the team and the listeners. And if at least one listener is hooking on the thread of the inner world, my time spent on the set will make me proud.”
