Shake The Baby Till The Love Comes Out (wrote this after their performance in bham)

I beatboxed over a clicktrack for about a minute then did production work to it. Specifically, in Ableton I applied the Audio Effect "Jimi's Amp" to the beatbox, then I boosted the feedback tone so it over-rides the raw audio, then manually wrote in (automation) a melody with the pitch of the feedback. I did this twice, panning each track left and right, two independent melodies.

I matched the beatbox with midi drums by placing kicks, hihats and snares on the transients, by eye (not quantized), plus some ornamentation like snare rolls, etc. 

The bassline is midi. Originally it was 11 evenly spaced notes (because the beatbox phrase is 44 half notes long, I believe...), but that sounded like crap so I moved the ends of each note as little as possible until it fit the musical structure. I added a little flourish here and there, played around with the pitches some, and called it good.
