About Illa Ghee:

Ghee is also featured on "Hold You Down," featuring Prodigy and Nina Sky, off The Alchemist's debut solo LP, 1st Infantry, which peaked at number 101 on the the Billboard 200 and number 11 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Over the years, Illa Ghee has collaborated with an array of iconic emcees such as Mobb Deep, The Beatnuts, Tragedy Khadafi, Blaq Poet, Inspectah Deck, Mic Geronimo, Jaz-O, and more and has performed alongside Slick Rick, Cypress Hill, and Dilated Peoples, among others. The album is divided into four EPs and each EP is named after a season (and released on vinyl influenced by the seasons colors). Both share their crib with DJ Adlib who is extending his Hi-Hat Club record “Haus & Garten” with this EP. “Tofu & Alter” assembles six remixes by Dexter, James Pants, Julian Dyne, TBRCK, Danny Breaks and Adlib himself. Featuring Declaime, Black Spade,  Frank Nitt, The Primeridian, Panet Asia and Adi Dick (Fat Freddy's Drop) on vocals. Robert Winter did the photos and Chicken George the artwork.
