Catacombo - a bunch of Catacombs and a synonym for mixtape (combo from tracks) 🤝

Each name of the my mixtape carries, in addition to the style, a message that I want to convey a couple of things ✌️

☝️1 - Catacobmas - I often hear "oh the same thing" or "oh and it was there that" or "oh this track I've already heard", well, yes, it happens 🙆‍♀️
At each battle, DJs try, in addition to immersing themselves in the atmosphere, to give out the most cool that we have at this time. Roughly you play Battle/Party/Any event a week, that's about 50-100 tracks per selection and 34-46 tracks per battle. And finding mega-cool-soup-dupa-staff every week is physically and technically hard 😓

That is, every day for 3-5 hours you are in search of new material, and in addition to novelty, it must meet “the same coolness and level” that is now and what you want to see / hear / feel 💃
Every week this is a catacombs of a thousand tracks, of which, in my experience, 20-30 tracks pass by selection, and 0-5 tracks per battle (if you're lucky) ✊
 
What am I doing this for?
To the fact that the standards of the time require a Creative personality (this is not only about DJs) full freshness, but this is not always the case. This is not an excuse, this is the presentation of information so that you understand that we are not robots 🤖to search for music, but we are people ❗️ who try our best every time and yes, the tracks may be the same, but people dance differently every time and open up on new 🌚

✌️2 - Combo - mix of tracks 🌱
I do not adhere to "go with the flow", from light to hard, but vice versa. For me, what a event, what a mixtape is a hike up the mountain. When it's easy for you, then it's difficult, then it's unbearable damn hard ⛰

Reaching the top of the mountain, you make a stop, enjoy the fact that you have reached and then descend, when it is not easier for you, as it would seem. At the beginning of the descent, it is easy for you, and then your legs can hardly carry you) 🦵

In addition to timing, I try to convey with mixtape that this is a test for both the DJ and the dancer, I hope after reading this you will feel what i want to say 🙏

We (DJs) try to convey our message to you every time to represent our style. Mine is most likely different from the others, but this is the essence and therefore we are different. Thanks to everyone who read it, I appreciate you for letting me share and be myself at every event 🤘💆

Mixtape Time by DJ CHEREPASHKA 🐢

One.take = "on the first try".

There have been no mixtapes from me since 2021… I found the following answer for myself: I am such a perfectionist that it took 2-3-4 days for past mixtapes with minimal interruptions. If I didn’t like the sound of mixing, it all started again ...
After this, I don’t feel like starting a new recording psychologically.

In my opinion, this wheel of productivity and perfectionism is where most of our dance culture resides. Everyone should have the best/ideal groups, students, videos, courses, Instagram management, etc.

Through mixtapes, I write my thoughts and emotions about what surrounds me at the moment. I would like to leave here something that it is also possible to be not perfect ... In our roughness, we all differ from each other. But I'm not going too far and I'm not saying that you can release raw material.

This tape was recorded in one attempt.
I consider this work my self-therapy, although I wanted to re-record it every day since the end of December.

The name came to my mind when I looked at my surroundings and understood that to be Just a dancer without a constant additional set of different Skills is apparently extremely difficult.

Around me (and not only) dancers are engaged in targeting; become organizers, MCs, DJs, designers; take SMM courses; courses on tiktok (God forgive me); study beatmaking; shoot 100500 stories, videos, photos; participate into various advertisements, theater and television projects; organize their own schools and so on ....
And I understand why and for what each of these points)

The mixtape was recorded with the idea that you can simply listen to it, practice with it, spend time with yourself and your dance without all the distractions.

We are all representatives of the Dance Culture, and I want that you don't remember to Dance.
