Hey! This track actually was an old Sans Hopes and Dreams that I started working on a bit after HPtU v2, but then immediately dropped because of I had no idea where to go with it. Then a few days ago, I started thinking about what a unique Sans HnD would sound like and moreso why Sans would fight the human if he were in Asriel's place. You know how Sans mentions he gave up on "going back" while not in referring to the surface? Basically, I thought that, with the power of a god, he could possibly "go back" to wherever that is. The point of this fight helping Sans come to terms that "going back" (literally and figuratively) isn't an option so he doesn't destroy the current reality as we know it.
It's an interesting kind of situation that I don't think has been explored that too much in AUs. Beyond that, it's a take on a unique Sans HnD that is *kind of good* in my opinion like how Megalo Fever was a very good take on a Sans BAaTH. Hope you guys enjoy! Cya!

Ironically we charted this almost fully and then the flp released, so we got to steal a couple of patterns to help us out in the final stages, which was pretty nice. Yeah, this is a reupload, for multiple reasons- one of them being that the song sounded a bit more compressed than I would've liked it to, but mainly because I didn't realize until after I'd already uploaded it that it just kind of... didn't make sense at all- I swear it sounded like a better idea in my head okay
So I decided to go back and make some changes, the main one being that the lead isn't a direct copy of E1M1 anymore.
There's a couple more things here and there, but they're not as significant.
It still doesn't really make that much sense, but I like how it sounds so I'mma upload it anyway.
With that out of the way, here's the original description:
i've never played a doom game in my entire life but i like the music so yes here's that at doom's gate cover i promised (this joke doesn't apply as well anymore but whatever)
swunkswapped's been dead for a while now anyway so i figured id just finish its megalo so it can die for real
Jokes aside, this isn't really the most creative US Megalo composition-wise, but I've had this idea for several months and finally decided to finish it now
