This is a song about my cousin Aaron Thompson who completed suicide about a decade ago. The central theme deals in crossing thresh-holds be it death or birth, and how we navigate the in between.  Ultimately this an homage to him and how deeply I relate to the susceptibility of self harm.  The resolution is about  cultivating self love and remembering those who have gone before us.
