This track has been described as "creepy and sneaky".....It has parts with a lot of atmospheric ambience that then meets a spark of energy.  This is in the vein of Djent and progressive metal.  There are breakdowns and build ups and all sorts of fun stuff.  Hope you enjoy!

Future Influx (New mix and master)

I've been listening to a lot of this amazing shoegaze/hardcore/prog metal band out of the UK called "Loathe".  They play baritone guitars that sound ridiculously cool.....so I did some research and found this very affordable baritone guitar out of the UK called the Subzero Rogue which the band "Loathe" also utilizes.  Although this song may sound like its tuned real low, it is actually in standard E.  The baritone guitar has a 30 inch scale length and string guages of 90-20!  So, you get the string tension and clarity of standard E with the low end boost.  I can match up the bass tone perfectly like this because bass tends to get pretty sloppy when tuned too low.  Hope you enjoy it!!

This song came to be at a time when I felt very disillusioned and at a crossroads in my life. It has a chaotic sway and some punishing drums.  This song was definitely inspired by most hardcore and post hardcore aggressiveness.

One of the good things about a pandemic that forces one to shelter in place is that it provides the time and space for creativity to spawn.  Cherished Ghosts pulls inspiration from fear, transformation, and a desire to channel lives gamut of emotions through creativity.  Artistic inspiration was pulled from genre bending artists such as Animals as Leaders, Plini, Periphery, Their Dogs Were Astronauts, Loathe and Meshuggah.
