Sampling the Dreamcast BIOS is an idea that's been knocking around in the ol' Laurben noggin for a long time - even before I was overly confident with music. DnB is not a style I can say I've attempted before, and this was my first time using GarageBand as a proxy for samples rather than as a MIDI player. I wear the inspiration from the Street Fighter 3 Third Strike OST on my sleeve with this one.

i don't know what the hell happened to the audio during rendering from fl studio but it sounds like all the instruments got lower in quality during the mp3 upload. at least it didn't completely butcher the audio but it's a little disappointing. i had to work with the trial version of FL for this and i had to make sure i finished the song in one sitting
honestly i had fun making it (plus I made the arrangement by myself and it sounds pretty good) and it did come out well aside from the final quality so enjoy.
credit to whoever ripped the rse instruments. can't remember where i found the files but they were part of a pokémon instruments pack

Gerudo Valley (Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) - Pokémon RSE Soundfont

i present to you one of the most underrated main themes for a nintendo-published game ever to grace this earth
if you haven't heard of Captain Rainbow then I highly recommend watching a longplay or just looking into the game, it was a Japan-only Wii game published by Nintendo and Skip Ltd. (the creators of Chibi-Robo) and essentially it featured all kinds of old and forgotten game characters, eg. Hikari from Shin Onishigama, Takamaru from the Mysterious Murasame Castle, Mappo from Skip's GCN game GiFTPiA, Little Mac from Punch-Out, etc. It never got an official English release because of cultural differences and a lot of the NPC characters never having presences outside of Japan either, but it would have been an interesting title to see localised and there have been attempts to patch the Japanese dialogue to English. I personally hope that Nintendo might pull through with an English sequel, that sees some of their less popular characters like Captain Falcon, Ninten or Lucas, and original Pit make appearances.
