Some music makers are master technicians; others somehow bottle inspiration & soul. Chelsea was that rare balance of the two. She was a pro and a true artist.  Chelsea didn't just give her track to this project; she gave mastering notes, asked questions about the intentions behind it and the strategy for release. She checked in frequently on its progress and offered support through the entire thing. Without her, It would have never developed the way it did.  In one of our last chats, she told me she’d hoped to complete an album in the direction of the ambient tracks on her essential ‘Memory of Water’ release. She should of had the chance.   The world is at a loss without her & I hope people continue to discover her music.

In March 2007, Inigo Kennedy put Token on the map with our first release ‘Identify Yourself’.
7 years & 10 releases later, he now releases his first full length on Token: ‘Vaudeville’, a project that feels like the culmination of all those years and all those records.
In true, theatrical manner, Vaudeville is a collection of differing themes - from the abstract and freakishly odd to the direct and resonant. And just as the Vaudevillian shares a common purpose with his co-stars as the 'voice of the city'('voix de ville'), there runs through the centre of this record a clear narrative for urban experience.

On 14 April we are releasing a single to portend the full show: 'Lullaby'/'Petrichor'. These two tracks will stand alone on a 12'' vinyl, with the rest of Vaudeville released as a 2xLP & CD on the 2nd June.

This was worth the wait, we promise.

As we hasten towards the inevitable Waterworld of the next century, Latvian composer, sound artist and lecturer Reinis Semēvics charts our safe passage to dry land with his debut album 'Train Of Thought'. Inspired by the rhythmic movement of water and how its rippled reflections bend our perception, Reinis sculpts an immersive sound collage - a precise mixture of field recordings and self-made sounds which swell and swirl as we bathe in their beauty. 
Bookended by the Baltic's roar at the Bay of Rīga, 'Train Of Thought' drifts from the harbour to the open sea, conveying the restful calm and frenetic power of a body of water throughout. Misty pads and delicate piano conjure lapping waves and blue skies, bubbling sequences ripple up from the deep and cascading melodies fall around hypnotic rhythms, each distinct droplet offering a different feeling and mood. One moment flows into the next, nine rivers pouring into a single ocean of sonic bliss.  
The alias R_R_ is a tribute to his grandfather, the composer Ģederts Ramans, whose influence helped set Reinis' sonic journey in motion. We're very happy he's decided to stop off in the Growing Bin, and we're sure you will be too.

Cherushii is Chelsea Faith, an electronic musician based in San Francisco, California. Her passion for dance music history is evident in her work, which takes cues from Detroit techno, Chicago house, and classic rave sounds. A multi-instrumentalist since childhood, Chelsea began experimenting with electronics as a teenager, which lead to playing live techno and house at underground raves in the 2000s. She has been working as a live performer, producer, DJ, and remixer for over a decade, using her gear savvy and innate musicianship to create lush, retro-futurist productions. Cherushii signed with LA-based dance music tastemakers 100% Silk in 2013, and released her second 12" for the label "Far Away So Close" in November 2015. Chelsea passed away in 2016, but her music is continued to be released and shared by her friends and family.
