The Mortgage Burn

This is a medley of two very old Celtic carols, one in Irish Gaelic (Don Oíche Úd i mBeithil) and one in French (Noel Nouvelet).
We wanted to give it a contemporary, rootsy feel.

CHERYL PRASHKER studied percussion at McGill University in her home town of Montreal. She is a touring percussionist for the Celtic Roots group RUNA and many singer songwriters throughout the Northeast. She is the Artistic Director of the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival in Ontario and hosts her own Podcast called FolkPod where she has interviewed many touring artists. She is also a singer songwriter and showcased her songs with her group CC Railroad during her days in NY City. She continues to write and is working on a solo album.
