With this one I really wanted to create an atmosphere that would fit the first time you enter and see lush caves biome in Minecraft. It's a really light and ethereal sound that kind of connects you with the glowberries that create warm light all over the ceiling of the cave, water which brings life to all the greenery, and green sprinkling particles of spore blossom. This track is much shorter, because It's supposed to capture the first sight of the biome and it's really beautiful and alive aesthetics. This biome is really peaceful, which is also embodied in the music itself. I really hope you enjoy it!

Across The World

Lush Caves

This is a song that sounded like a taiga biome to me. It feels like you are really close to nature all the podzol, mossy cobblestone and spruce trees. They add so much to the whole atmosphere of the biome and the colors are so captivating. Taiga biome is one of the colder biomes in the game, but spruce wood adds charming warmth which I wanted to capture with the guitars I layered in the song. There are many elements that make the song sound cold and eerie in a way, which I feel like really captures the feeling of minecraft, but there's that added layer of warmth. Taiga biome has always been one of my favorite ones, cuz you just feel so small surrounded by giant trees. It adds so much to the atmosphere.

Taiga

This is a song that is outside of my main project dedicated to minecraft inspired soundtrack. This one is inspired by a mod that will expand the void in subnautica. Void has always been a really fascinating place. It's a super eerie and dangerous place. But there is a bit of peace in the emptyness. I wanted this to be eerie yet inviting into the new area of the void. It's not an official soundtrack for the mod, but I was inspired by the mod to challenge myself and try something different and outside my comfort zone. Usually I don't go too heavy with synths for my minecraft music, so it was really fun to just play around and experiment.

Into The Void

This song is inspired by shipwrecks by the sea. I wanted to make a song with piano that keeps evolving as the song goes on. Something about this one feels really peaceful and like you see the expanse of the sea. The whole song feels kind of isolated like a forgotten shipwreck on a beach, or near a shore. It has a warmth to it, which to me almost sounds like the shipwreck became one with the nature it's surrounded by. It's almost like a symbiosis between nature and something manmade. I really hope you enjoy this time!

Shipwreck

With this song I was really trying to experiment with "drums" in a minecraft inspired song. I used different water sounds to create them, which was really fun thing to do. Usually my songs have heavier and more melancholic vibe, so I really tried to go for something much lighter. I really love how this one turned out to be. What I imagined was playful jumping around on lilypads during a really sunny and happy day. I also played around with switch ups, so the listen is really dynamic.

Lilypads

I was really inspired by the newest soundtrack for 1.21 with this one. There are parts that are really true to Minecraft and other parts which are more pushing, what Minecraft soundtrack is. I've been experimenting a lot with strings and longer songs these past couple of weeks and I really vibed with this one. With this one I wanted to challenge myself and create 6 minute song that goes through different emotions and environments. What really inspired this long song was adventure. Going on an adventure in Minecraft and going through so many different places and environments. There are elements inspired by something I'd call "pirate" string music and C418's minecraft aquatic soundtrack.

Directions Of The Tide

With this song I really wanted to focus more on the creepy atmosphere of deep dark. Ever since they added it there was something otherwordly and alien about the biome. Something fascinating and intimidating at the same time. I played around with a lot of weird textures to add to the unsettling ambience of the whole biome. The drums are also not just some typical drums and they almost resemble a heartbeat that gives you a sense of adrenaline that captures the feeling of sneaking around in the biome.

Deep Dark

This time I tried to do something different than usually. I usually do ambient music, which I love and adore and it's my big passion, but I've also been doing some remixes which I've never published before. This song is really special for me and my journey as a producer and composer. Allie X released an album this year called "Girl With No Face" and she also was the producer of the album. I found out she was using ableton and it really set me on the trajectory I am on right now. I've always been a fan of ambient and video game music, but I am also a big fan of pop culture and other more electronic genres of music. With this song I kinda wanted to challenge myself and bring some DnB elements to the song. I find the result quite interesting so I thought it'd be a good idea to share it with you. Another song inspired by an amazing mod called "Call Of The Void". I've done my first subnautica inspired soundtrack inspired by this mod called "Into The Void". Into The Void was quite chill and eerie track, which I really enjoyed making. For this one I wanted to switch up the vibes quite a bit and go for something a bit darker and slightly more anxiety inducing. I really wanted to capture this specific feeling of thrill mixed with anxiety about discovering the life beyond the 4546B's Crater. The whole world really expands for you and with that grows your curiousity, but also the fear of unknown.

Another song inspired by an amazing mod called "Call Of The Void". With this one rather than capturing the essence of the biomes I wanted to encapsulate one really specific feeling. Subnautica is a game, where terror is much greater than the horror aspect. I wanted to capture that anxiety inducing, heart racing feeling one can get when playing this lovely game. It was more so in mind with the mod for calling of the void, but it would work both ways. Thing I planned with these songs so far, is to have them sonically quite cohesive.
