I wrote and recorded this in my first-year dorm room bed whilst sick as a dog with freshman flu. My friends of only a few weeks had brought food to my door while I was quarantined. I wrote this for them.

A lonely guy in a dead-end job decides to branch out for once and is subsequently devoured by the Kraken.

I top it off, dust off that rowboat at the dock

I begin rowing, finally free
And I hope for a ship to float past
But something is wrong here, stirring beneath
And the boat starts a-rockin’ too fast
