Wraith Pulse

In twilight's hollow, where shadows play,
A mind unravels, night by endless day.
The threads of reason start to fray,
As madness beckons, come what may.

Down winding paths, with no escape,
It falls, like autumn leaves that ache,
Their color fading, lost their shape,
No longer clinging to the tree's dark cape.

In this descent, a world apart,
Echoes whisper, "Let go of heart",
The grip on sanity starts to slip,
And chaos reigns, a madman's grip.

 Memories blur like water's flow,
Reflections distort, as if below,
The surface tension starts to break,
And ripples spread, an endless shake.

In this abyss, where fears reside,
Shadows dance, side by side,
With every step, the darkness deepens wide,
And the fall into madness, it does not subside.

Time loses meaning, lost its pace,
Moments merge, erase each other's face,
In this void, where silence screams,
Madness claims its victim, it seems.

Yet still it falls, through endless night,
Through labyrinths twisting out of sight,
Until at last, it hits the ground,
Falling deep into madness, lost, unfound.

Abstract Construct is the 5th release and 4th compilation from Damaru Records.
It’s compiled by DJ Lloyd Positivist from Wales.
The music takes you on a journey that is reflective of the spectrum that is night time psychedelia today and contains contributions from the very talented members of the Damaru family and some very special guests who are at the forefront of today's very diverse and cutting edge night time psychedelic scene.

The journey starts off in the forest and atmospheric environments and via a smooth transition, gradually increases tempo and power to the full power night time dancefloor, and finally finishing off with some grinding hi tech, brain disassembly and a hint of humour.

We hope you enjoy the experience that "Abstract Construct" has to offer. We really enjoyed putting it together and we hope that you love it as much as we do.
