A central figure in Italian club culture, Beppe Loda pioneered the omnivorous ‘Afro’ sound and mixing style that combines everything from proto-industrial and Steve Reich to Afrobeat, disco, sideways new-wave, Celtic folk and krautrock.

Since his first gig at the Kinky club in his hometown Manerbio back in 1973, Loda has been on the hunt for off-the-beaten-track records; but it was during his 1980-1987 residency at the mythical Typhoon club that the disco trendsetter nailed down his vision for the dancefloor. Thousands of young Italians fell under his spell and Loda recorded some of the greatest dance tapes ever made.

Take Your Heart Away is the masterhit by Cycloid Dyaxis. We start with a FenixFire Mix. Just to get you in that right mood with nice 4 by 4 for the floor, and spiced with some eighties mainlead. Spiced up to start the original mix? Kicking off with a acid-like bassline, forwarding with some percussing. And then she start telling her story, like it is a fairy tail but then for serial killers. For the longest mix, you go with this 10 minutes of Acid violence. And again, at the second part of this track, some crystal clear synths will make your day! A much shorter, but very interesting interpretation of the original, is the Soulless Robot Mix. This can be played in a more alternative session.
