Ralphi Rosario was a founding member of the influential Chicago DJ group Hot Mix 5. When this group formed in 1981 on radio station WBMX, Rosario, the youngest member of the group, was still in high school. The Hot Mix 5 went on to become one of the leading forces in the early Chicago house music scene.
Like other members of the group, Rosario eventually branched out into music production and remixing. His first release, made in collaboration with Vince Edwards, was "Sample That!" in 1986 under the name Bang Orchestra. In 1987, his collaboration with Xaviera Gold, "You Used to Hold Me," became a big hit for Rosario.

"Contact" is a 1978 disco single by Edwin Starr. The hook line is in the chorus, eye to eye contact.
The single was Number 1 on the disco chart for one week, early in 1979. The single crossed over to the Billboard Hot 100, becoming his highest charting pop single in seven years, peaking at number sixty-five. "Contact" also made the top 20 on the soul chart, peaking at number thirteen.

"Dance (Disco Heat)" is the title of a 1978 single by American disco singer Sylvester James, who performed using just his first name, Sylvester. The song became Sylvester's first Top 40 hit in the US, where it peaked at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the fall of 1978 it also reached #29 on the UK Singles Chart. The song appears on his 1978 album, Step II.
A 12" single was released in 1978, with "Dance (Disco Heat)" as the A-side and "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" as the B-side, and these two extended dance mixes proved to be very popular in the dance clubs at the time. The two songs held down the top spot on the Billboard Dance/Disco chart for six weeks in August and September of that year  and helped to establish Sylvester's career as a noted disco and dance music performer, both in the U.S. and abroad.
