This is more or less the same patch as 11-23, substituting the Orgone Accumulator as the oscillator going through Mutable Instruments' Clouds. More about the controller aspects of the Voltage Memory here and the timbres generated by the OA and Clouds.

A sketchpad piece for a film in progress. Using the iPad to perform field recorded samples in Borderlands, alongside the modular system.

Patch 6 - 26 - 16

First real recording using my new suitcase/easel setup. Processed with a Roland Demora and the Samplr app through an Audio Damage Odio. Very simple staircase kind of melody to provide a little meditation music with harmonic grit.

I've been playing around with incorporating familiar melodies and songs in my modular music for a while, and Shenandoah has been a mainstay in this rotation. When the Mannequins module W/ came out, I thought of several immediate uses for it in my music, and when the Disquiet project for "pentimento" came up, I thought the two would be a perfect fit because of the ways that W/ can emulate tape degradation in live performance. Thus the water of the music, the imagery portrayed in the song, overtakes the song itself, having been painted in our minds and hearts for so long already.

Oh Shenandoah (disquiet0328)

Heavy investigation of the Intellijel module Shifty for cascading multi-voice patterns and harmonies. The sequencing is done by the monome ansible with the meadowphysics app. Verbos Harmonic Oscillator and others into some delays and reverbs.

patch 12 - 17 - 2017

This was created through a collaborative process with Angela Guyton through the llllllll LCRP for the fall equinox of 2018. All sounds were made on the modular as individual splashes and moments through visual conversation with Angela, and then eventually spliced together for narrative purposes later on. The end result probably consists of about 10 or 11 different small soundscapes.

Just uploaded the new firmware for the Endorphin.es Blck_noir, so I thought I'd do a simple little jam. A little crunch on the bass from the Bard Ivan tube saturation module, ambient textures from Mutable Instruments' Elements, and Tides through the WMD DPLR for delay.
