Also as a bonus there are two mixes of the title track from Alpaca edits honcho Pete Le Freq who houses up the original and rising star Cuz Electric who turns the track on its head for some fierce peak time electronic disco wobbliness!

We're pretty stoked to welcome DJ Nola back to the HP decks!  DJ Nola got her start as a DJ over 15 years ago as a radio DJ for the Duluth station KUMD. Soon after, she discovered house music and gravitated towards it. After nearly a decade of primarily playing house music, she started exploring the songs that were sampled in some of her favorite house tracks, at which time she got really into disco and funk music - interests that carry on to this day. In a day and age when most DJs use computers or CDJs to ply their trade, DJ Nola plays almost exclusively vinyl. She threw a series of disco parties in Duluth before moving to Minneapolis.  Nola brought that infectious energy with her and it was immediate felt on floors- all over the city!  Nola has since started a new funk and disco party called Freak of the Week, held at various venues around town.  Nola always brings a fresh angle and it will be a treat to have her rotate some of the finest for everyone, in January!

NEIL FOX
( The Headspace Collective)

We're also stoked to welcome Neil Fox to the HP decks!  We've been enjoying thiswon's sets for some time now.  Neil has been loving music and hitting dancefloors since 93' and is notably a major part of The Headspace Collective (THC), which is a loose conglomerate that Fox co-founded with Brandi Rasmussen and Elaine Marigold Avery.  THC puts together great experiences that take music fans onto floors from MPLS all the way to somewhere, WI and back.  Neil plays it all and you can sense the passion behind the selections made, each time he steps to the decks to share sets with dance heads.  Neil has been representing eclectic and infectious sets for the last several years and it will be a treat to have him lace the HP room with some serious flavor. All about it!
