Privilege of Time

This is my first released song, called 'Ghost' and it talks about how to take life back in the hands after something that affected us strongly.

Chiara Magrini is an upcoming Italian artist based in England whose music reflects a powerful and authentic soul and a will to express the contrasting feelings of the human mind.

Born in a little village in Italy, Chiara falls in love with music at 4 years old, listening to ‘Rumors’ by Fleetwood Mac from her dad’s car radio. At 14, Chiara is already studying vocals and guitar since the age of 10, and she is self-teaching piano. At this stage, she starts writing both in English and Italian, while she catches any opportunity to play her originals in bars within her small reality. Chiara attends courses with established songwriters in the Italian music scene, and her music teachers push her to write more: a gap increases between the amount of adventure that her songs demand, and what that little city can’t give her anymore. 
At 19, Chiara decides to move to Brighton,UK, pursuing her songwriting studies at British and Irish Modern Music Institute. With her Brighton's band, Chiara records with her first two singles, Ghost and Away, which are still influenced by the indie/rock and folk atmospheres. 

In the last year though, Chiara is moving towards a solo project, exploring more pop and electronic sounds, drawing inspiration from artists like Emilie Nicolas and BANKS.
