In this release we feature Wiggle Room Records' label boss TAKiN's new single Boro Chap, a Farsi expression that translates to Go Left. The original mix is a bouncy deep house single that leads the audience to a flow of left and right, and to clap.  Nathan Barato presents a dirty tech house remix of this song in his iconic sound.

Eric Umble is a Brooklyn-based DJ, sound artist, clarinetist, and event producer passionate about cultivating a thriving local dance music community. An acclaimed classical musician with a focus on experimental music, Eric's love of repetition and extended forms made his jump to DJing a natural step. Eric is co-founder, lead producer, and resident of FACETIME (@facetimetechno) along with Rebecca Goldberg (Detroit Underground). Founded in 2019, FACETIME builds and celebrates community through music, dance, and visual art. It is held monthly in New York City and has also presented after-hours, virtual, and late-night events in Detroit and Cleveland.

Eric is a regular presence in the New York scene appearing at venues including Bossa Nova Civic Club, Trans-Peocs, Mansions, Market Hotel, H0l0, and more. Eric has shared their driving, hypnotic, uplifting, melodic, and groovy sound across the country at parties and raves above and below ground. Highlights include VOID (Philadelphia), Intimät (Denver), SYIT's Techno Cabin (NYC / PA), and Sound Space (Deluxx Fluxx, Detroit).

We do like it when Dutch dance veterans go through their old DAT-tapes. It's like digging for gold, which is often found. On the Dreech EP on SoHaSo Records, DJ Remy takes us back to his RoXY days. That time when we all ate strobes for breakfast and recognized a Pump Up The Jam-sample whenever we saw one. Opener 'Lost DAT One' is a gem. Remy proves he still packs a punch today, with the freshly produced breakbeat infused 'Stampkramp'.

Remy shares this vintage feel-EP with Joannes, a techno producer from the north of The Netherlands who has a fetish for hardware and a keen ear for oldschool house sounds. Cowbells and handclaps are plentyful on his two takes, and so is humour. On the fast-paced 'Claps for Richie' he builds and builds to a blissful liquid break, only to cut it short. What a guy. And what a great EP.

Live Performance for Dark Mofo Hobart, June 2013

Born and raised in Torino, Italy, Chiara is a Melbourne-based composer, DJ and musician. Her artistic appreciation and blend of music disciplines allow her to produce an eclectic range of musical outcomes.
Classically trained in piano in Italy and later exposed to electronic music after moving to Melbourne in 2004, Chiara has since moved into a well respected position in the Melbourne Techno movement through her dedication to a refined DJing technique and production of electronic music. This eventually led to extra studies in sound art and design at RMIT University, extending her interests into composition and sound design for screen.
Chiara’s work now ranges across composing and producing music and sound design for film and commercials, creating electronic music for live performance, composing soundscapes for immersive environments and art installations, and the experimental use of field recordings with analogue and digital synthesis.
Over her DJ career, Chiara has performed at a range of venues across Melbourne, supporting international DJs such as Robert Hood and Ben Sims, as well as appearing at White Night, Melbourne Music Week, L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival and Dark Mofo in Hobart.
In the past year, Chiara has continued her interest in musical composition, performing and DJing while also gaining practical audio engineering experience at GASinc, one of Melbourne’s leading sound design and music companies.
Chiara is currently producing music for picture at the Electric Dreams studios.
