A song about how I came to learn to play the guitar and start to write songs. I am very sorry for the poor sound. But at the moment I can only record with my phone. That's why I have to play the song in one go. The drums are just the built-in drum accompaniment of my amplifier, which I switched on in this song after the first chords. I will buy an audio interface and try to find a DAW (free or not too expensive) - if you know a free one, you can send me a PM.
One day I will manage to get a better sound, I am sure! But for the first songs, only all live-played with the drums from my amp recorded via phone, since I cannot do more at the moment. Perhaps some like it nevertheless? I am a bit excited about pulishing my first track here...

INTERpEST decidided uploading this older track, a version of actually first self-recorded and produced track HEINRICH'S FAREWELL (2022). You can find the "nekro" and the "clubby" versions on the channel. This mix's beat is turned deeper into BLACK METALish obscurity though being dimmed down into the more natural sounding percussions with highlighted though dump bassdrum. Pleasently, the bassline is more audible, as well, while the guitars seem to have gained a smoother, more elegic temper. Might be the best of the mixes?
The idea of that song is the autobiographic and literature-based search for expressing the romantic feeling of some always just mentally longing for breaking through. The title reflects Kottfried's great novel DER GRÜNE HEINRICH. Heinrich feels locked away by his childhood and escapes it while being like a twen to explore if he's being able to transcend the world, at least his bourgeois boundaries. Protection is the enemy. At least wo different endings of that great novel from the German i think "Gründerzeit"-era are available. 
Will INTERpEST's tune be able to defeat his fears, his inner enemy, reach the catharsis in the final of his emotionally driven track? Will it be a positive FAREWELL?

the consciousness erased and replaced with the "cort.eXe code"




Cort.eXe code are geeky metal heads, making music, on and off for over 20 years. 
Now finding themselves in a time and place they feel they don't belong, finding little room for originality and feeling like relics from the past. 

The "digital dystopia " is a metaphor for where they feel they are at, musically.

With nods and references to 70s, 80s and 90s sci-fi and horror movies, old school gaming and other little "easter eggs" for those who care to listen. 


..ok...not particularly original.....but that's half the point.
